1855 #A has a crack in the flare end of the metal high pressure hydraulic line that wraps around the cast housing. 1855 #B has a good line but I want to tap it for use on a loader.
I'm thinking I will take the good line off #B and replace it with a hydraulic hose with a T in it to tap into for the loader. I could use the good line off #B and put it on #A, or I could put a hydraulic line on #A as well.
A new steel line is about $100. A hydraulic line would be much less than that.
1. Any suggestions or comments on the above ideas?
2. How do I get at the right hand fitting of the hydraulic line to remove it? Remove the floor board? Both tractors have cabs.
