Oliver 77 top trans shaft

Have a worn out coupler and trans input shaft. Has the long shaft in it from hyd lift... Have the 3 lock rings out and haven"t got her to move yet. Is there something I"m missing? Also will there be clearance to pull it out with out cutting it off somewhere in the middle? Would be grateful for any help or experience you may have with this.

You drive them forward. I had a "slug" made that I would insert in the back of the shaft. Hold the rear bearing in with a 12 inch adjustable wrench. If you can find a long driver, place the driver where the PTO shaft would go and the end on the slug. Get on the end of the long bar with a 6 pound sledge.

Thank you I will knock her forward. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't fighting anything else that I didn't realize. Should my clutch shaft slide back and turn freely with the coupler off?
