Super 77 power Steering

Want to put a Char lynn motor on my super 77 but don't have room for the pump and reservior as I have an alternator on the tractor. Can I use a priority valve and if so can someone send me a scan on how to pipe it or to which ports on the alum. pump base to get live presure from?

It is your tractor and yes it can be done. We had one customer who was very fussy that had one on a very late Super 88. We were always replacing the seals & bearings in the hydraulic pump. He got tired of that and we removed the flow divider and put a seperate pump on it. End of bearing and seal problems. I don't understand the issue with room. The power steering pump on a Charlynn unit is mounted on the thermostat housing. I would find a front pulley from a 770/880 that has two grooves to run the power steering pump instead on the Charlynn unit. My 2 cents worth. J
