I have a later model 77, has disc brakes, looking for a 3 5/8 bore overhaul kit, the supplier is asking for waukesha model #, block casting # is 185220, I know that is not it, thought maybe my reprint of the oliver shop manual would have it listed, do not see it in there...????

If your supplier does not want to sell them to you, go to Korves Oliver.  They list the 3 5/8" sleeve and piston sets for your Super 77 for $432.25.

You can contact them at [email protected] or phone 618-030-8772  View their website: www.external_link.com

Late model 77 with disc brakes is not necessarily a Super 77....
The model number for Waukesha would be a 185 series.
If the 77 is like the 88, the Super 77's would have different rod journal diameters than the regular 77.

Get yourself a quality kit. You will need a different head gasket. What are you going to do with the tractor? A 3-5/8 kit with those little valves? I would get the head redone with either 550 or at least Super 77/770/88 valves if this is a gas tractor. YOU WILL WANT THE LARGER VALVES TO MAKE IT BREATHE BETTER. If it is a 77 diesel, forget the 3-5/8 as you will have crankshaft issues.

There is listed the model 185 and a 194 waukesha, I am thinking the 194 must be for a super 77? I do not really need the added power of the 3 3/4 kit, I did see Korves has them on sale, will use for light field work, maybe 50 hours per year, run a small hammer mill, small aquare baler, rake hay, pull 9ft cut haybine, etc..it is a 77, does not have flat implement mounting pads....looking at a kit a company out of ohio sells, I think the supplier name is reilly ?? might be same ones Korves has? I am looking for better quality. The head was done about 4 years ago, has the bigger valves installed. Thanks for input.
