Yesterday I made a 4 hour trip west out in to central Kansas...It was a beautiful sunny 73 degree day...I went to pick up a nice 1951 model E-4 Coop tractor that I bought thru the ytmag photo ads...I"m very pleased with it..

1-Heres where the E-4 spent its last 10 years..

2-The late owners son posing beside the tractor after we had loaded it.

3-The E-4 safely home..The only problem we had was a blown trailer tire on the way home.

4--An E-5 and E-4 Coop tractors on my trailer around 1984..I had hauled them home from NW Kansas..I sold both of them in the late 1980"s..The E-5 ended up in Ohio and was later on the Dupont calendar after being beautifully restored..

Nice unit indeed. I've heard several 'ole timers share that the 40/E-4 pulled better than all the round nose Cockshutts.

Very nice looking Co-ops. Those 40s pulled good but they were no match for the 50 with 18,4x34 rubber and fluid in the tires.
