Cut my eye teeth on a 1964 525 with a 522 (2row wide) and 13ft header, with a M & W header control and an after market cab and a heater, Ansel Cab I think ?? Hyd valve for header control mounted outside of cab on right side, and it had a chopper too, Dads 525 had a straw spreader and he had some problems with straw walkers as the spreader drove off of the rear straw walker crankshaft. Mine had the small rear axle and I broke a couple of them, the pivot shaft was small. Changed the exhaust pipe to back end of engine to get it away from hyd pump and hoses. straight pipe sounded good back then, now can't hardly hear it thunder. |
