I have a 1755 Oliver that is losing hydraulic fluid to the gear oil compartment. I have no idea where else it could go. Maybe someone can fill me in on other possibilities.
I want to fix this. I have put this problem out there before, but I seem to only get responses for fixes that work as long as you don't use the PTO.
I put at least a gallon in the hydraulic compartment some time ago to bring it up to the proper level. I used the tractor for a total of 2 hours, maybe less, spreading manure. That happened a few weeks ago. Today I went over and checked the dipstick and the fluid doesn't even make it to the bottom of the stick.
Like I said, I want to fix this. I want to use this tractor next spring for around 30 hours of plowing to pull the disc around to get some hay fields planted and would prefer the hydraulic oil stays where it is supposed to. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
