I dug up an old brochure I didn't know I had yesterday. It is a brittle old piece of newspaper with several pages of the whole Co-op Implements line of machinery for 1949 including the tillers, swather, combine, mower and this E-3 tractor. Way too big for my scanner and poor lighting for this picture I took of it.

(quoted from post at 16:39:11 11/10/12) The 6-bolt rear hubs indicates this is 1946 or early 1947 E3.

Maybe they were still clearing out old stock in 1948. Or didn't get around to updating the photos in the catalogue. That photo is none too clear. This one shows a little better view and this E3 appears to have the 9 bolt hub.

Agree, the 9-bolt hub tractor may be a '49 model. The 9-bolt hub decals are more block style than the '46 models.
