Would anyone know where I could find a wiring diagram for a super 99 diesel (6 cyl) I just recent purchased the tractor and the best I can tell, the switch froze up, and the previous owner added an electric fuel pump and a starter selenoid. I purchased the new switch, but it is marked differently on the back pins. Anyway, I put in two new batteries and tried to start the tractor and with in 5 seconds the battery wires were hot. My preference would be to go back to the manually engauged starter, so if anyone knows where I could take mine to be rebuilt back to original condition I guess would be a good start. I already purchased the rebuild kit for the diesel lift pump so I can eliminate the electric fuel pump. Any recommendations on what to soak the old pump in to clean it? Looking for someone to point me in the right direction, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. |

| How long has this tractor set> I would also make sure you make the screw driver test on the injection pump before you try to start it? Otherwise kiss $900.00 good bye if it is not too late now! Have you had the starter off the tractor? |

| The tractor was running last year over the summer, so we are talking over a year since it last ran. The tractor has not been turned over yet due to the starter not spinning, just the selenoid. What is the screwdriver test on the fuel injection pump? I have not yet taken the starter off, thanks to the weather, but that is my next project. Any other suggestions? |

| was hoping to get a phone call from you over the weekend to hear what the screwdriver test is. I took the starter off and took to a shop and the starter is fine, however, I would still like to convert it back to the starter button on the starter instead of running through a selenoid. But now, as I was checking the fluids, i topped off the anti-freeze, and later noticed a drip coming from around the exhaust manifold. This tractor is killing me! any suggestions? |
