I am having a problem with my 1600 Diesel. It has sat for a year after I rebuilt the head and injectors. Got everything back together, new fuel filters. Went to bleed the lines and fire I back up but no go. I have manual fuel pump pumping fuel out of the low pressure lines back into the tank. I have fuel in the pump. I pulled out the filter out of the pump clean. But NOTHING is coming out of the high pressure lines of the pump. What let loose in the pump? Its acting like the fuel shutoff is stuck in the stop position. So I disconnected it and moves freely. Any help is my pump due for a rebuild, it worked great before that. What’s missing????? Email is open... |

| The plungers inside the puymp that make preasure are likely stuck. This is a problem if water /condensation gets in while not moveing. |
