I didn't get any pictures of the demonstration, but they made one pass up and one down....28rows!
It'd take me a fair more amount of time to do that with my one row picker...I think.

You are right about trying to keep up to that with a one row picker! Twice around the outside and three more rounds might finish the field! LOL. That is an awesome machine! Thank you for the picture! Any chance of getting a C.D. of all the pictures you took? Also thank you for the sheller pictures! Would the M&M mounted picker-sheller be a New Idea mounted super picker re-badged as a M&M? I was also looking for some pictures of the shellers such as the Ottowas, John Deere # 6 and mayby a Cook. If you could send me a C.D my address is

It's definitely "cool", but looks like a compaction maker to me. Have we lost our way? Manufactures please stockholders with profit from corporate farming operation purchases and there is less interest to manage land for long-term sustainability. Just a thought... not certain that bigger is better.

beast ! farming is getting insane. The guys who farm by my house moved in here Friday morning with 2 New Holland CR combines 16 row heads on each machine (40 ft cut) they pulled out of here at 5 Pm last evening and had harvested 640 acres of corn. We personally counted over 100 semis hauling corn out of here. They never ran with the lights on. NOT like when I had to shell all night with 2 little headlights on the Gleaner
