I gave up and purchased a 880 from Eaton MN last August. I (happily) paid $2,300.00 and replaced the hyd. pump, rebuilt the Zeineth carb, replaced all fluids, rebuilt PTO, replaced all gaskets and front wheel bearings, stripped, blasted, some tin work, primed, painted, new rubber, emblems, steering wheel, decals and seat cover. No hour meter but farmer said it ran auger, generator, irrigation pumps since 1971. He guessed at close to 20,000 hours with 1 complete overhaul, and rebuilt injection pump 3 times He said that tractor out lived a lot of other brands they had [Reply]  [No Email]

I saw as nice of a 770 gas as I've ever seen sell at an auction a few weeks ago. Fairly decent tires,super clean,said to have had a new hydraulic pump a year ago,narrow front,clamshell fenders but square seat,eggcrate grille. Only downside,no side sheet metal at all,all 4 pieces missing,as was the front oval emblem. That one brought $1750. [Reply]  [No Email]
