does anyone know if i can rebuild my late 1650 diesel (283 engine ) with a 310 kit like used in the 1755 for the bigger cubic inch and how much more power would it give , any helpful details would be a great help |

| A 310 has a longer stroke than a 283 so the answer is no. The sleeves are the same, the pistons are not. |

| To make sure do you have a casting number. direct injection 283 engines use the same rods as 310 engines. |
