I have a super 55 back hoe, just replaced the front main seal with a new one from the dealer. (cork style) When the tractor is running it does not leak but when it stops, it weeps oil. When I put the crank pulley on i can feel it push (springy) the cork back like it is grabbing on the edges of the pulley. I even took the pulley off and ran it, does not leak a drop. I think I need to really wire wheel or maybe have the pulley turned down a touch so it wont crab the cork. Im afraid to use sand paper on the cork its self in order to increase the clearance. Anyone else have this issue?thanks Andrew |

| Andrew, why don't you upgrade to the automotive style that goes outside the cover and that will be the end of your leak. you can get one from Korves Oliver and ask them how to install it. the nice part about is , you don't have to take the cover off to install it. hope this helps, chuck
