2 70 fuel problems

I have a 2-70 White diesel. Under full load it starts to miss. Sound like it is running out of fuel. It has a new filter.The tank is about 1/8 full. Should this tractor have a fuel pump? I never seen a diesel without some type of fuel supply pump. There is not one in the tank and I can't see where one would mount.

I have had that problem with mine years ago it ended up just being the bottom of the fuel tank where the sediment bowl screws on,try taking the bowl off and see what kind of flow you have.

I used to have that same problem too with my 1655 (same as the 2-70) I finally removed the sediment bowl and installed a 1/4" ball valve straight off the tank to the fuel filter. End of problem.
