Whomever said the 1850 Perkins Flywheel housing would work, might be wrong. Today we tried to measure, line up and get ready to drill holes, but first there was less then a 1/4 inch for the flywheel to fit into the housing. 2nd the flywheel housing does would have get shimmed or cut out around the oil pan to make it work. 3rd once on the starter would not fit for several reasons. (manual Fuel pump is in the way, extremely tight to the block unless you have a stepped reducing starter)

So has anyone ever used them?

Pictures if you have.

You need the SAE flywheel housing for a Cummins, part # 3903282. The part you need from a Perkins-1850/2-105 is the clutch housing that bolts the hydra power or over/under to the flywheel housing. WB<><.
