Is an aftermarket pump used to replace the engine driven hydraulic cooling pump? I am going to reseal my existing pump, but have read that this might be foolish.

I dont know if he is still in business, but Faribo tractor used to rebuild those pumps or exchange them.I know he sold out but heard he is getting back into it.Faribault, Mn.

Thanks for the reply, I will look him up. I installed the seal kit early this morning, and spread manure with it for 8 hours. Not a drop yet, although the bushings do look a bit worn.

I'm looking for one for my 1755.

Thanks

That pump only pumps fluid through the cooler and back to the resevoir.  The pully shaft is running in a bushing.  The point is you don't need the belt fiddle string tight.  Run it with a lot of slack like the OM states.
