I bought a super 88 gas with no serial number tag how can i find what year it is? |

| There are casting dates on the following components: Engine crankcase, cylinder head, front frame and transmission housing. The crankcase number will be on the left side either the bottom of three numbers in the center of the housing or vertical behind the starter. The cylinder head will be on the left side of the valve cover. The front frame date is on the inside, left side by the clutch housing. Transmission housing is on the bottom, lay down and look up. If none of the components have been replaced the dates should be near the same. |
