Broke a short driveshaft inside the hub of an 8510 agco white, dealer was able to get a new one, not cheap, and availability is scarce, but it is up and running again. Was wondering if anyone knew of a salvage yard or aftermarket supplier for parts for these tractors. Front axle is a dana AG 200, don't know if they use this axle on other models or brands of tractors. No area salvage yards handle parts for these, guess production numbers were real low for these type of tractors. Thanks for any information. |

I wouldn't think parts for those tractors would be to hard to find. They were the same as the Agco Allis 9745 and Agco RT-145. They made them for quite a few years. There is also one size smaller tractor the same as them and I know there is an equivalent Massey and Challenger to to go along with them. They made them from around 97 to 02.
Heitman tractor salvage specializes in Allis parts. He has some of those tractors last I saw in tractor house. |

| Actually this 8510 white is the same as the 9755 agco allis, except some of the agco allis had, I believe perkins, instead of the cummins 8.3 this one has. It is the smallest of the big frame agco's, and the 9745 agco allis is the same as the 8410 agco white, it is a little smaller tractor. I think this model 8510 was made in 97 and 98 and is around 160hp. I am still trying to find out how much compatablility it has with the challengers and masseys. This one has the funk 18 speed powershift, I think the masseys and challengers used a different transmission and they also use different engines, not sure on the finals and front axles. Thanks for the infor on the salvage yard, will look them up if more troubles arise, thanks. |

Your right, i was a model off. It still about the same info though. The 9755 became the DT-160 till about 03-04. They did all have different engines in them but I think the basic chassis was the same. One thing however that may have changed them was that the early ones till 01 were all made in Coldwater OH. They were they switched to Beauvis France in the end. They may have changed some things with them. I wanna say that the Massey 8250 and the Challenger MT-635 are the same. You can go to Agcopartsbooks.com and compare part breakdowns and part #'s. Great easy to use resource. |

| Dana made those front axles for more people including Ford & Case-IH. Now I did not say if they are all the same model. One of my last jobs at Dana was to modify one of the hydraulic training stands I used for my hydraulic classes to use it as a power unit to cycle the axle for some tests. It was a Case-IH magnum axle. The Dana engineer in charge grew up on Molines. |

| Thanks for the information, still trying to find out which other tractors used this axle, the ford genesis's use the same funk transmission as this one, so it is possible they used the same front axle, will look into it more, Thanks. |

| it depends on where you are, for me i am in north east iowa and the youngest white tractor that is close to me is a workhorse 145, i have never personally seen your model or any models in that series anywhere in my area. also i see very few if any of them on tractor house either. so they must be a fairly low production series or they just were shipped out to certain areas. |

| This is the only one in our neighborhood, it is a whole different animal than the workhorse whites, other than it still has the 8.3 cummins. It is a 98, you would think at that age parts availablility wouldn't be a problem, but they change things around so much now a days, things become obsolete in a hurry I guess. |
