| I had a Roosa Master on a Farmall 350D that had sat for 7 years. The pump didn't work and it turned out to be the little pistons in the rotating element were stuck in the bore by light rust. I dissembled the pump and soaked the whole thing in diesel and lightly tapped the pistons out. Polished the bore and pistons with a paper towel and diesel. I bought a seal kit and the tractor is in the field haying right now. By the way, the dark rubber looking ring needs to be replaced with a new one made of modern material. The old material disintegrates and you will be right back into the pump cleaning out a million small pieces. PK

Are you talking calibration or if all the parts are the same. The transfer pumps are different on the early ones.

John, we got an 880 with one and it isn't pumping any fuel, the shutoff rack was frozen, we got it open and it still won't pump, so im guessing the pumps not gonna be any good. So I just wondered if one of a 770 or 1600 would work? Thanks

Sure it will work. don't laugh but I don't know if I have the calibration data for the 880. If you have a chice, pick the 1600. Youy have the model number of the 880 pump? Did you take the cover off and check to see if the metering valve moves?

John, I can get the model # of the pump tomorrow. I only have a 770 pump laying around, would it decrease the power of the 880? We took the top cover off and freed the shut off valve is there something else to check? Thanks
