I put the gasser on the dyno at the tractor show, it said 111hp. Not sure if the dyno was calibrated correctly, but I know the tractor runs like a scalded dog. Pretty sure the guy before me had it apart and "warmed" it up. Guys with 4020 diesel's not too happy to say the least, they didn't make it up to the Ollie's power. My $5000 gasser showed them who's boss! Some guys at the show said the gas tractors had more umphh than the diesel 1850's, is that true? I know mine loves the fuel though. It's for sale if someone wants a hot dog 1850 by the way, if you want to hear it run, think one of the guys put it on youtube.

I know the one I looked at was pretty peppy. the guy said when his dad bought it new it was 105hp on the dyno and he had it tuned up some. You might have more HP with your gasser but the diesel will make up for it with the torque.

That's funny, now I gotta try and find the video of that thing in action.
I don't know about the gassers having more power than the diesels, when I was in high school (20 yrs. ago) our 1850 dsl. was hooked to dyno and made 105 hp.

When dad bought his 1850 diesel in '93 from the original owner, we figured out pretty quick that is was really stout. We never put it on a dyno until a couple of years later when the hyd pump went out. After the shop got that repaired we had them dyno it, 137hp. That explained the big flame and pulling the 18ft disc in 4th direct.
