I"m told there was a lower speed transmission offered for the 66... how do I tell which I have? |

| there are 4 a 50 tooth a 46 a 47 and a 45 tooth ring gear let me know what your trans code is and I can tell you what you have |

| I used to pull a super 66 with a stroker in it. oliver used a slower ring and pinion in the supers and 660's to make up for the increased engine rpm, I had common fleetline gears in mine, it worked well in third gear. If you want to know the tooth count I can look it up. |

| The last part of the serial number would tell what was in from new. Mine is C66L if I remember correctly. That makes it a slow one. So far it works ok for pulling. |
