Jason Hasert who has been writing the Wide Wide World of White articles for Oliver Heritage has found another picture he would like me to share with you guys for any thoughts or comments. This time it is a Cockshutt 2655 in a cockshutt plow brochure. It would seem that it is just another "doctored" picture. But it does raise the question did any of them go to Canada like this? From what I have seen of this time frame in White history it is certainly not impossible. I have done an archive search on here and dug up some neat old posts about this. Some say that in western Canada they only wanted Cockshutt tractors and because of this some MM G-950, G-1050, and G-1350 or there Oliver counterparts were labelled as Cockshutts. I would say it was possible as the MM's had the option of being painted red from the factory. I also dug up a post saying that there was a Cockshutt magazine ad for a Cockshutt 2455. I believe that this exists as back when ebay started many years ago I was searching around on there and saw that ad. I saved that picture and honestly never thought much about it until I learned that there was supposedly no Cockshutt version made. Unfortunately that computer is long gone and so is the picture. Have any of you guys ever heard of any of this or seen any of these tractors? I know the Plainsman as everyone says was for Canada but I don't really believe that to be the case. The plainsman to me is the "Heritage edition" to go along with the Oliver and MM Heritage editions and I believe it was sold in both the US and Canada and not for very long as all I have seen are bubble nose models witch they changed to the flat grill in mid 1971. So anyways, any info stories or pictures will be greatly appreciated.

| That is the fuel tank. All A4T's had the fuel tanks there, both diesel and LP versions. |

| | Are you, or is there anyone you know that is writing an article about the A4T-1400's up to the 2655's? The reason I ask, about a month ago, I sent a lot of information on those tractors to the editor of a big time tractor magazine. I don't know if he is the one writing the article, or if it's someone else. All I know is, there is an article being writen about those tractors. |

I don't know if he is or not. But if you did not send them to Jason Hasert then I would say its someone else writing it. I would be interested in talking to this person about those tractors and whomever that person is should contact Jason Hasert as he has a ton of literature and info on them. This Cockshutt one is an oddball and would be great to include in that article. |
