Tractor died after pulling the trottle back to idle after a couple hrs of raking hay
Would not start again.
Plenty fuel to the inj pump but nothng to the injectors
Fuel shut off solenoid works,i can hear it click when cycling the key.
Pump shaft ain't broke either cause i can see the timing mark rotate trough the timing window while starting.

Any idea's?

Will it start after it cools down? If so, pump is getting weak.(Cool fuel pumps easier than hot)
If not, take the return line off the pump and try to start it. Might want to put a bucket underneath to catch spilling fuel. Look for black material that looks like coffee grounds. Means the pump ring is disintergrating.Pump will need to be rebuilt. Someone with more knowledge will correct me if I'm wrong.

I took the pump cover off, wiggled the linkage a bit, figgured all looks fine.
put cover back on,pushed the start button, engine fired right up.
You go figger???

thanks for all the expert help guys
