Well, today the 17 got loaded up and down the road she went. Kinda miss it already but it was a project that I'd never get to do.
On another note, does anybody need some fenders for the 17 & up series? I've got the set I took off our 18 that are in really nice shape that I was always gonna put on it if I were to fix it so I no longer have a need for them. I have the spacers and brackets too.

| Gonna be a parts machine. They are a small family run bone yard that specializes in oliver. We run our farm with an 1855 now and it's been a good tractor.
And oleblu- you can email me at ollieollie1600 at yahoo.com.

Don, what kind of project does the new owner have in mind for this tractor? I always like to see the 55 series all restored and painted even though I wouldn't have wanted to farm with one because they were far too unreliable.

There was a time when I said I'd never sell another tractor again. That was quite a few tractors ago. Seems like money talks pretty persuasively some times.

Interested in the fenders if you still have them. How much do you want for them and where in WI are you located? I'm in northern IL.

In an ideal world we would never have to make choices but for most of us that is a part of life. I have dreams that will probably never be realized but I will be thankful for what I have.
