| I heated mine up, took it off and flipped it over and used the back side. It works perfectly. It was on an old style 88 standard.

| Most flywheel ring gears have tapered teeth on the side facing the starter drive gear. Your engine will always stop in one of three positiions thus that is where the wear is. Mark the flywheel and ring gear, then heat it up and remove it, install it 60 degrees from where it was previously.
