I bought a 6 bottom 566 plow yesterday and the seller said it was a 16" plow. The moldboard part number is 619-14, so I think it may be a 14" plow. I that correct. I need one new moldboard, all new point "lays", and two new shims. Can anyone verify this part number as indicating it is a 14" inch plow? And, does anyone have an idea where I can purchase one, only? |

| I have a dealer friend who has one 619 moleboard in stock and he would like to sell it.He also has the shins and I did not ask about points. Chuck, he does not have any 419 bottoms. Around here you can buy 3 four bottom plows for the price of 2 new moleboards. A few years ago you could buy nice 4 bottom semi-mounted plows (Oliver , Deere & IH) for less than 100 dollars each. They have been picked over and scraped. |

| Thanks for the tip, John. Is it a 619-14 moldboard, or a 619-16? If it's a 619-14, please give me the dealer's #. |

| Did you measure to see if the plow is set on 14 inch or 16 inch? They could be set either way. 90% of the plows we sold used a 419 bottom. If the plow was set on 16 inch a lot of customers used what we called "long points" Measure the length of the points that you have. I know a dealer that probably has NOS plow parts he would like to sell. They are not cheap anymore. Shoup's probably has those parts as well. |
