I am looking for a good hood for a 1966 1550 gas. Are diesel hoods the same, and is a 1650 or 1655 the same? Mine is pretty rough, the tractor was rolled before I got it, and someone tried to straighten it out with not very good results. Josh |

| 1650-55 & 1550-55 gas hoods are the same. same with diesels. if you have a 1550 with a oil bath air cleaner ,a 1600 hood will fit ,with a little trim to the cross member above the gas tank. all 1600 hoods are the same ,gas or diesel. I have a few hoods, email me with your needs. |

I have an oliver 1655 4-wheel drive diesel, 1971. I am looking for a nice hood for it. Do you happen to have one? |

| update. all 1550-1555 hoods [gas or diesel] are the same,[to a certain serial number ] when the fuel hole was further from the dash. and a extra side panel bolt hole was added. only difference is wet or dry air cleaner.a 1650 gas hood will also work on a 1550 or 1555, as long as air cleaner and serial number are compatible. |

| There's a difference between early and late. measure the distance from the back to fuel tank hole, if I remember right the later ones it was moved forward so if you had a cab it was on the outside of cab |

| The 1600 air cleaner hole is straight ahead of the muffler though. On the 1550,it's over more to the right. |
