Topic: Super 55 PTO stopping

I have a Super 55 have gone though the pto spider clutch etc and it will not stop spinning when it is disengaged. If i take my hand i can stop it, sometimes needing a pair of channel locks but not excessive force needed. Is there a way i can get it to stop or is it the nature of them ?
