8.3l cummins in an 1850

I have an 8.3 cummins and wondered if anyone had ever put one in an 1850. Ive seen alot of the 5.9 swaps but thought the 8.3 would be handy since its layin around. This is going to be a show/farm stock pulling tractor

ive seen the 8.3's in 2-155's and maybe even in a 2-135 but never an oliver.

sounds like a sweet idea tho. probably a lot of issues you will have to overcome tho.

You will have to change the tub to a 2150 tub or a Herc tub. The cummins bell housing and block are wide. Also the block is long. My friend has an 8.3 in a 2150 and it was easier than he thought.
