My brother bought a Oliver 1250 tractor and it has a leak in the diaphram in the fuel pump/injector. He has been trying to find a repair kit or a new diaphram and can only find products for a 1250A. Does anyone know where he can find a kit or diaphram. |

| Let me make sure you & I are both on the same page here. The tractor is a diesel and the diaphram has a hole in it and now it has no governor.By the way, years ago in service school we were told to put a drop of oil in the breather on the governor compartment once in a while so the diaphram would remain soft and not crack. That pump is a Bosch look alike. Where have you tried and where do you live. Also have you changed oil in the injection pump? |

| Yes - it is a diesel tractor and the mechanic stated to my brother is that the reason it won't idle right is that there is a hole in the diaphram. He just bought the tractor at an auction and is in the process of finding parts to fix it up so he hasn't done much with it yet. It looks like the only place to get parts for the 1250 is out of Canada. Everything I can find is for the 1250A. We live in Washington State. Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your reply. |

| You need to go to a diesel shop. Diaphrams and vacuum governors were only used on imported engines and tractors |
