How many gallons does a row crop 66 take for trans & rear? This is a puller and will use hydraulic oil. Let my friend use my book and have not seen it since....UGGGHHHH!!!

Its been awhile since I changed my 66 trans oil but
I remember 18 or 20 quarts of 10-30 for mine? I
pull my 66 also. You can find it on you tube;
Oliver 66 4500 lbs 08-13-2011. Have fun with your
66!

Hey. Good looking 66...what have you done with the motor? I will pull mine in 2750-4500... I have close to 70hp and 14.9x38s

It is almost stock. Installed 3.75 sleeves and pistons, shaved the head .100, late 550 manifolds, 811 carb, and it is a super 55/66 block. It turns almost 2600 in neutral. The safemark 11.2 tires were on it when I bought it 2 years ago. It still has the OE cam and rockers but that may soon change. I also have a late diesel that would fit this tractor and that might find a home in this tractor too. If the diesel goes into this tractor the gas engine will go back into the super 55 where it came from. Have fun pulling!

How many tractors do u own. U seem to be an expert on a lot. Does ur 66 have a 77 engine in it.. Then whine when u can"t pull it due to rules.

Blacky...if I were an expert I would know how many quarts of gear oil it takes...give me your # and we can discuss my pedal tractors as for the wine comments...my feeling is if you can fit it in the tub with all stock metal...and an rpm and speed limit...run it

if it fit in the tube it ok?? what a dork!!! you never pull but run your mouth--you never will either!! lucky if you make it out of the pit!! one word------LOSER!!!!!!!!!!! haha

Well, I am glad to be making friends!

I will type slow so a couple guys can keep up...hahaha

Are you the 1 that went to a "run what ya brung" pull and didn't bring enough? I will stop at the dollar store and get a 100 blue ribbons for guys like you, will have something to bring home.

Maybe you could be the guy at the pull with the rule book, dyno, Nebraska test book, have all the tractor specs for weight, tire sizes, paint codes, gear ratios, GPS jammer, and social security #s for all pullers!

If you are still reading I hope by now you picked up on the "sarcasm" if not, shut your computer off, and pull your head out to breathe....

My 66 is for open "run what ya brung" exhibition type pulls for FUN! If I had a 5.9 cummins to put in, I WOULD!!

My 88 has a 415ci power unit motor that is USAP LEGAL, I have a lot less $$$ in mine than a DIV 3 or 4, Farmall M 600ci Baker motor, 800 ci JD G, Oliver 88 550-650ci Gingrich motor

I hope to have my 88 at the Fowler MI pull, 7-14, I will have a ribbon for ya in the truck

Look on youtube at a 66 called Olie, I think it was Cody Adgents? just seeing that pull, I know mine would not hang with it

Sorry for the rant, just wanted to know how much oil to put in the rear end

been about ten years since I changed it last
thinking it put the hurts on a five gallon bucket plus a couple of quarts

I have the 66 that grandpa bought used about 1 year old and it is the one I remember him driving when I was young and I drove it a lot over the years
good luck
Ron

OK
checked the book I is off a little
4 1/2 gallons
SO 2 quarts left over out of 5 gallon instaead of 5 gallon plus 2 quarts
Ron
