my grand dad bought a 1951 77 in 1952,it has always been in the family it has all 4 original goodyear tires,it was passed to me in 2006.He bought a 1962 770 in march 1963,he died a week before it was delivered. The oliver dealer offered to return it,but grand mother and uncle gary and dad kept the farm going. uncle gary got caught in the 1980's bad farm economy and sold out in 82'.dad picked up the mess and bought the 770 at the auction,we have it as well.In march 1966 uncle gary bought a NEW 1964 1800C ,dad called it the screamer as it turned a lot more rpm's than he liked,at this point dad had case tractors, anyway it would walk away from the 930 in the heavy dirt ,both pulling 5-16plows,[dads own words].It had a dash fire and was traded for a 1030 case in may 1970,i was a year old and only have pics and stories of the 1800.mostly I have the bill of sale with serial number,I found the 1800 last year, only the men who know the stories and operated the 1800 are all gone, dad in 2000 and gary in 2006,I miss you guys and these pics are for you!
