2_135 serial number

Is there a second spot for the serial number on a 2_135? My neighbor had one that he bought new but the number was never written down in the book and the number had been kicked right off the tag because of where White put the tags. This is the same one I mentioned a year or so ago that had a cab fire. they got the can off now but still trying to get the funds for a replacement.

Pretty sure its a series 1. And like I said he's got a line on 3 cabs but he doesn't have the cash to buy one right now.
