Super 77 won't shut off

I have a super 77 that I can't get to shut off. I even pull all the wires and coil wire and it still continues to run. What should I look for to fix this problem and what is causing it? Any help would be appreciated.

0liverkid, it sounds like the compression is to high. was it a pulling tractor? it may need race fuel. i had a 1971 boss 351 mustang that would not stop without stalling it after the did away with good fuel back in the 80s. that's my guess, chuck

Thanks, I tried better fuel and it shut off just like it should!
