If you get them from somewhere else your not getting the correct ones.

This is one of the best places for decals.

It is a 262 Gleaner from an F model. That starter issue caused me some grief. Had I known then I would have used the rear mounts and flywheel ringgear from a gas model. But learn as you go...I'm having a starter custom built at a shop. The motor runs great...starting to paint the sheetmetal this week. I do need to locate seat cushions, shifter boot and decals yet.

Looks like a "long" diesel starter on a gas motor. Might be fine, just an observation

Is that a 262 combine engine?

Looks good Dan. Your starter is going to have to be changed so you can put some sort of air filtering to the carburetor, but it works the way it is, for where you're at now. I'm sure you'll love the tractor when you're done. And one with that front end, has to be far and few between. I'm not sure that makes it any more valuable, but it does make it more unique.
