1850, 2-105 injection pump

Will a 2-105 White CAV injection pump fit a 354 in a 1850D? Is there any modifications needed to be done? Thanks

More than likely not. The 1850 used a short drive shaft between the pump drive and the injection pump. The 2-105 eliminated this using a bigger drive hub on the pump and different brass drive gear in the engine. This eliminated the high end flutter associated with the worn pump drive gear and coupling. Some engines may have been switched to the bigger drive.

Yes there were some converted, I did one. All the gaskets had Massey on the packages.
