1800C pistons in 310

Is the compression height on a 1800C piston different than a 310 gas piston. I have heard of people switching them out in order to bump up the compression and was wondering what had to be done to make it work. Thanks for your help

Height is the same, remember it is a flat top piston and your 310 gas piston has a concave combustion chamber. What are you running for fuel? I think I read once where that flat top will get you around a 12:1 compression ration. Do a little cc work and you can do some math.

Running 110 octane fuel. Just looking to bump up the compression a little. Thanks for your help. If anyone has a set let me know

What is the recommended compression ratio for a 310 lp engine? And does bumping up compression on lp motor (running lp) work like in a gas?
