Heres my 1967 Oliver 1950 puller. The top pictures on the Spring River sled were taken at Carthage,MO in July 2008.The after dark picture was at Nevada,MO in June 2007.The bottom picture was at Walker,MO in June 2008.

The tractor pulls the 13,200 class at 3000 rpms in 3rd gear.It will make it 2/3rds of the way down the track before shifting down.On some tracks I only get beat by 10 ft.On other tracks the high horse tractors put 30 ft on me but its still fun.

They come up fine for me. Looks great!

Are you the same 1206SWMO that collects combines?

Saw a couple in PA run 9500 lb. class. Had narrow front end and 20 X 38 rubber on pressed steel and did very well.

It has N-70's.I thought about N-80's but didnt do it.To be competitive I need to get a 3 speed and drop down to the 8000 and 10000 classes.

I"ve been looking for a Oliver model 7800 diesel combine in case you ever come across one.

Hey 1206 could a guy plow all day and not blow the engine up with N70s? Thinking about going to bigger injectors on my stock 1950 but am wondering how far I can go and still use it in the field. Also did you do anything else to try to get more air in the engine to burn the extra fuel? I know the 1950s have a four-valve head but wasn't sure if they had the N-series sleeves with the tall holes in them where the air enters the combustion chamber. Nice looking tractor.

N-70's would probably be too much for a field tractor.Years ago we had a 1965 model 1950 with one size over stock injectors that gave it about 118 horses. It handled 6x16's pretty decent.

My 1967 Oliver 1950 puller has no other mods than the bigger injectors. The local Detroit mechanic thats in his late 70's tuned it up for me in 2006.
