Stacking Oliver wheel weights - how?

I"ve got a JD 2150 that came with a set of Oliver wheel weights on it. They"re the small kind, with the look of a slightly tapered cone - I"d bet they weigh around 100 lbs each. They have 4 bolt holes in them and appear to say 1E1235 on the casting.

I have an opportunity to buy more of these weights, but I want to know how they"re supposed to be stacked. Do you only fix the inner weight to the wheel with 2 opposing bolts, and then use the other 2 holes to hold the next weight on, and so on?

Or do you use 4 lengths of all-thread with a nut on top of each weight? Looks like there might be room to do this, but I"m not sure.

I used all thread when I changed weights. I quit throwing weights and used bolts and used a different tractor for different classes and used bolts on all of them. Changing weights for different class should be left up to your wife and kids. Doing it yourself will make you old before your time. My Oliver weights are 150 pounds each. I lift them with my engine lift using a counter weight.

Ha ha, thanks. However, this isn"t for a pulling tractor, but a loader tractor. I"m not planning on pulling these weights off once I get them on there!

Right, my question is, how did they do that? If there"s 4 holes in each weight, did they bolt each weight to the next weight with 2 bolts, or did they put 4 pieces of all-thread through the whole set of weights, with a nut after each weight so you could remove one at a time?

Those are super 55/ 550 weights. Its been a long time, but i think useing 2 bolts to start is ok untill you get more than 3 stacked. Then you use 4 bolts. Some one will have the right answer.
