1958 Cockshutt 540 help with sourcing broke starter housing

Trying to finish hay and my old girl wont go !! Starter housing cracked around bendix shaft ( I hear it is a common problem on 540's)
2 Questions 1. can i buy just the housing , or do i have to buy whole starter?
and 2. where can i get it ?

I wish people would use serial numbers instead of years as that is how parts books work. So do you have the autolite or the Delco starter and look at the tag on the starter and post that information as well.
