Don't think I ever posted pictures of my brother's 550 after he got it running. I finally snapped a few pictures today. Now he's getting the bug again, and said he might try to find a 990 GM...

Very nice 550 and 1510 loader. Of course, I haven't met a 550 that didn't like. They are just a tough and handy little tractor.

Yup, that's the one. He had to replace the whole housing for the transmission because of cracks. He's had this one completely torn down. If guys want to be picky about a "restoration", this one I think fits the bill as just about every nut, bolt, bearing and seal was replaced in it.

Nice restoration job. How many Olivers do you have? Who is the Oliver dealer in your area? My Dad and I had 88s and a 1755 when we farmed years ago.

Brother's got the 550 gas. I've got Grandpa's 1600 gas, and we've also got an 1855 Deisel that we run. We've also got a 1755 sitting in the weeds with a bad engine, been there for almost 8 years now.

Been wanting to get to tearing that one apart, but it just hasn't happened yet.

We also have 2 Masseys, a 165 gas and a 285 deisel.
