I have to back the 880 on the trailer and leave the nerow front end out on the dove tail to get it to balence out right on the trailer I use 3 chans one in the drawbar to the front of the trailer one trew the back pipe holes on the tractor to the front of the trailer and the front pipe holes on the tractor to the back of the trailer I was wandering if any one thought that the wide front end part that has the bushing in it for the usaped suport rod for the front end would hold up to bolting on there and puting a clevace in there for a hook point I dont like using the pipe holes becous it is hard on the paint and I dont want to distort the holes if I ever want to use them in the fucher I would rather make something that I know will work rather than use it and have it brake
Thanks Thomas

I'd think that would be stout enough, but don't take my word for it. I wouldn't want to be responsible for you breaking or loosing something. But what a lot of folks do is put a pipe in the cultivator hole, just the width of the frame, permanently, then hang a hook off the pipe.

We screw a 3/4 inch structural bolt into the hole I think your talking about that has a pc. of 3/8 gr. 70 chain on it that we beartrap to. If you "squish" the end link in the vise a bit the 3/4 bolt will go thru it. We always screw the bolt out when unloading at so you dont have a unsightly pc. of chain dangling from the tractor. I am not saying it is the right thing to do but it does protect the paint, and has held her on the trailer so far.Have also used the same apparatus in one of the front wieght bolt holes in the tub.

I have seen alot of diferant ways of doing it but I thought this would be the easyest if it would hold bolt on and leave it there still thinking about it cant get any solider than the pipe hole thow
thanks Thomas
