550 together again

Finally got all the parts and slid the 550 back together again last night. The clutch went out b/c the grease tube cracked and whenever the throwout bearing was greased the grease went into the tub but not on the bearing. The pilot bearing was shot as well. Everything needed to be updated. All the grease in the tub made the PTO clutch slip as well. Good news is that the oil seals don't leak. PTO works right and engine clutch as well.
The only question I have is with adjusting the engine clutch. I know that I should have up to an inch of free travel but it doesn't feel like I have any at all right now. The adjustment is let out all the way on the pedal. Any thoughts on this?
