1850 carb adjustment help needed

guys i need some help.. i am not a carb guru so here goes. my tractor is running way rich.

i know (i think) that there are two adjustment crews with the idle being the small adjustment screw and that's about it.

can anyone give me some quick ideas on what to try? i don't have a problem in the world with a little trial and error, just looking for a starting point.

Which carburetor do you have ? Is it aluminum or cast iron?
