perkins diesel

does anyone know if the 1550 diesel is made by Perkins.
And if so what years was the 1550 made and what years had the perkins diesel.

The 1850 is the only Oliver to have a Perkins. The rest all had Waukesha's in them.

 &nbspThe 1550 was built from 1965 until 1969;  The 1550 was [u:654c4848f0]not[/u:654c4848f0] built with a Perkins engine, all were waukesha gas and diesel engines.  Diesel engines were LaNova Cell type, did not use the direct injection engine like the larger models.  Model 1555 was the same engine and power train with updated sheet metal and etc.

How's this for obscure: Was the engine in the "David Brown/Oliver" 500 or 600 a Perkins?
