I believe I know your dilemna. Our Danuser hole digger hooks straight up the tractor, thus eliminating the top link altogether. Since these olivers have the different style top link which mouunts to the tractor at two points, the hole digger will not hook up to the tractor end. The only solution I have seen is to weld up a bracket and bolt it to the rear of the tractor in order to have a single mounting point for the top point of the hole digger.

My top link on The White 2-60 came with an extra end for the top link for cat 1 implements. Smaller diameter and narrower. It's impossible to put a bushing in to make yours narrower, so go down to the farm store and see if they have replacement end for the top link

You can do a search on the archives for this as it's been discussed several times.
Jim has addressed the lower links. Be careful of your sway block position.
If you also have a problem with the top link, if it's like our old post hole digger, you remove the standard tractor top link at the two mounting points. We had to order a bracket from the mfg. of the digger that was available at the time--if it's not in your case--this bracket consists of two Z-shaped pieces of flat steel approx. 3/8" thick and 2" wide that bolt to the two holes left by the standard top link mount. The top sides then comes together to make a coupling point for your boom. This bracket could be made without too much trouble. There may even be a diagram on the archive. Good luck.

According to my manual it looks like I need an upper link screw assembly to mount cat1 implements to my cat 2 hitch.Anybody know where I might find one of these?
Thanks Stan

I don't have a 1650, this is going from my 1755. You will have to do something to get the width of the pull arms from Cat 2 to Cat 1. That may maan removing or changing around the sway blocks on the arms so they will come in closer. It could mean swapping the arms. Anyway, something like that will ahve to be done.
To connect a cat 1 implement to a cat 2 system you will find it easiest to use bushings, sold at any farm store, that fit inside the cat 2 balls to make them the same size as a cat 1 pin. For some work, you can probably fake it and just put a cat 1 pin through the cat 2 ball, but the implement will be sloppy.
If the cat 2 ball on the tractor end of the top link won't fit in the casting on the tractor, you'll either have to go buy a cat 1 top link, which will be $20-30 at some farm store, or make a n adaptor. It's probably easier to just buy a new top link.
This is from memory so use it as a guide rather than the definitive word.
