lift control arm in transmission 8n

I posted several weeks ago needing a little help with 8n lift I have took top cover off transmission and pump. drained all fluid out, and washed out. fluid was yellow. several said I need another control rod from the lift quadrant to inside the bottom of pump housing. am looking for one now and mine looks like it may be bent a little, as I said before I took a wood handle with side cover off and pried it forward about a inch or so and it lifted up. (without equipment on tractor) my question now what do I look for next if that isn't the problem? thanks again Gary

First you straighten the control arm or replace it & then if problem isn't fixed, you tell us the symptoms at that point & we may be able to help you.

Did you call Holloway tractor. It is near Danielsville not far from you. He is also a good source of information. I was over there last Thursday looking at some parts.
