One case solved-another shows up

Solved the generator problem. Turns out the field line from field to brush had broken. Got it fixed and the other two generators are operative.
Next problem shows up- no three point arm lift. It worked a while back but not now. I can lift the arms without resistance but no lift when operating the lift control. Any and all thoughts are welcome.

Yes, pto was engaged and turning. Could it be when I got the 8N it had a lot of H20 in the trans chambers which froze a month or two ago. Completely drained the system when I figured out what happened. Might I have to remove the pump when Minnesota thaws in a month or two or heat up the shop. Have done this before so it may cure the problem. Like I wrote before it worked this past fall when above freezing. Any other thoughts are welcome!

Mr. T., Yes if it had a good bit of water in it and froze and the PTO turned on it possibly messed up the pump.I hope for you that there is not any water in it again.
