ever been there? if not the farm show has very little to do with farm equipment. if you go there to see oodles of tractors and implements you would be horribly disappointed.

the show is all about the animals. animals seen on many farms these days. pigs are my favorite.

there is also a large vendor area. some folks don't like that, we do. I found a guy to repair a "cane" seat chair of my grandmothers. also picked up a bottle of PA wine after tasting a few. also entered a slip to win a pick up. (fat chance of that) :)

I lasted about four hours on my feet until the back said it was time to go.

Looks nice, but the serial number would be the better model identifier, not the emblem. The FORD Model NAA was release din September, 1952, and the new 1953 model was labeled the Golden Jubilee Model, a Biblical term meaning 50 years, in honor of Ford's 50 years in business. In 1954 the nose cone emblem omitted the 'GOLDEN JUBILEE' wording. Maybe it's my PC color settings, but the sheet metal to me looks white. Also, the right fender light bracket is actually the Ferguson style; the drawbar and bracket are aftermarket; the stabilizer bars are aftermarket; the wheel lug nuts were never painted red -always cad/zinc plated; and the Knoedler seat and the steering wheel spokes should be painted black. jut curious if it is still 6-volt wit ha generator or was it converted to 12 volts?

(quoted from post at 15:29:49 01/08/17) I have a Knoedler on my 51, Kirk.

It certainly reduces leg room.

I recently purchased a MF202 Workbull. I put one of the universal spring seats from YT on it. I love the seat but it's kind of hard getting on and off the tractor. The seat is a lot higher than the old stock bucket. It's comfortable but brings my knees closer to the steering wheel.

It wouldn't bother me except I was reading on the MF forum about a tractor roll over and it was mentioned getting off the tractor in time should that happen. Now that thought will always be in my mind. I guess I'd better practice and find a somewhat fast way of getting off that thing.

Hi all !
My son was at the PA. farm show and he thinks this tractor was restored by a bunch of kids as a school project for the farm show. I think our tractors will be in good hands with the young people in our united states when we get to old to take care of them. it might not be totally correct for maybe not finding the correct parts or because of a set budget. great job! Just curious but is my Jube rear light bracket original? I'm thinking yes cause it goes over the fender rib. I straightened it out and remounted it just after getting the tractor. I didn't know that my wheel nuts weren't red from the factory when I painted mine. :)

Thanks,
Terry
